Avaira Toric are monthly toric contact lenses made by CooperVision to correct astigmatism. Avaira Toric lenses are made of silicone hydrogel. The material used is the soft and flexible Enfilcon A, which has the ability to maintain a stable water content. Contact lenses are supplied in a package of 6 lenses.

Aquaform® Comfort Science™ Technology

Aquaform® Comfort Science™ Technology ensures that the lenses have a balanced ratio between water content (46%) and oxygen permeability. The water is tightly bound within the lens. It is thus comfortably moist, flexible and comfortable to wear all the time without the need to use additional moisturizing compositions (e.g., moisturizing eye drops).

Design and optical construction

High-quality optical construction with aspheric lens design ensures correction of astigmatic defects. The design applied enables quality vision even in low-light conditions. The rear surface of the lens ergonomically adapts to the corneal surface so the lens maintains a stable position in the eye, making their wear very comfortable.

UV filter

UV filter is an integrated part of Avaira Toric contact lenses. The UV filter provides the cornea partial protection against harmful rays. The manufacturer warns that contact lenses containing UV filters are not meant to serve as a full replacement for sunglasses because they protect only a small part of the eye. The lenses are slightly blue tinted for easier manipulation.
